- Junior Dos Santos - Dos Santos is undefeated in the octagon at 8-0 (6 via KO or TKO) and an overall record of 14-1. He has great stand-up and boasts victories over names such as Cain Velasquez, Shane Carwin, Roy Nelson, Gabriel Gonzaga, Mirko Filipovic and Fabricio Werdum. Last Fight: KO victory over Cain Velasquez at 1:04 in the first round. Dos Santos clipped him early and finished him quick to win the Heavyweight Championship. Next Fight: Dos Santos is expected to face Alistair Overeem on May 26, 2012 at UFC 146.
- Alistair Overeem - Overeem recently made his UFC debut with a win against former Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. With the win, The Reem improved his overall MMA record to 36-11 (1) with 11 straight wins. Alistair is one of the most feared strikers in the heavyweight division with devastating punches and kicks. Last Fight: TKO win over Brock Lesnar at 2:26 in the first round. Overeem dropped Brock with a powerful kick to the side and finished him with a flurry of punches. Brock later said it felt like he was kicked by a horse. Next Fight: Overeem is expected to face Junior Dos Santos on May 26, 2012 at UFC 146 for the Heavyweight Championship.
- Fabricio Werdum - Werdum made his return to the UFC with a dominant victory over former TUF winner Roy Nelson. Werdum last fought in the UFC at UFC 90 where he lost to Junior Dos Santos via first round KO. Fabricio is a world-class submission expert and against Roy Nelson he showed off his improving stand-up game. Last Fight: Unanimous decision victory over Roy Nelson. Werdum outmatched Nelson in every aspect as Nelson was never able to get anything going. Both men won Fight of the Night honors. Next Fight: Nothing is announced yet and any opponent on his level already has a pending bout. I could see him fighting the loser of Mir/Velasquez (winner should have next title shot) or Shane Carwin upon his expected return from injury mid-2012.
- Cain Velasquez - Last Fight: KO loss to Junior Dos Santos at 1:04 in the first round. The fight was Velasquez's first title defense and the first loss of his MMA career. Next Fight: Velasquez is expected to fight Frank Mir.
